Below are your responsibilities regarding WET images:
A WET (Week End Theme) is a graphic that gets posted by the moderators of the group,
and it is normally an image, but sometimes it may be a font, a tube, or even a texture/pattern,
just something for you to doodle and play around with. What you do with or to these images
and offerings is entirely up to you...if you choose, you may apply a favourite technique to the
image - whatever, just experiment and do to the graphic what you feel you want to do.
Once you like what you've done, and completed your version of the image/graphic, please post it
to the list as you would any other graphic - just put the word "wet" as the subject matter of
your email. If you want - and please note this is not a requirement - its welcomed by other members
if you give a short description of what you did to the WET along with your version of the image, so
that others can learn and pick up some tips or hints and ideas.
We normally post 5-7 graphics to the group - and in the subject line, it clearly says WETS or
WET IMAGES .. so you won't or shouldn't miss them. If for whatever reason, you don't see
them in your mail - they will be posted here.
Keep a look out this weekend and every weekend for them - they're a fun way to test your
personal PSP skills, and they will be landing right there in your mailbox with the rest of the
list's mail, normally on Friday or Saturday. No need to do them all, or even do any of them -
this is an optional activity for PSPMadeEZ.
**NOTE**: I want to add something here - not to put a damper on things, but I think a little
word is prudent; most of you are already aware of this issue, but for those who aren't:
The majority of these graphics have been downloaded from the NET from someplace, and we
don't always know the origin or creator of these images, as some of them get renamed and are
even re modified by the time we post them as WETS. Please make sure that you use WET
images for PERSONAL practice-and-dabble use ONLY. Take it as an undisputed fact that each
and every one of these images are copyrighted to their respective artists, whoever they may be,
and that there may be lawful consequences if these images are used on the web for a website
or stationery without authorized permission from the original creator of the
graphic/artwork/image posted.
***In light of the above, these images are NOT to be shared with graphics groups or in any
other group elsewhere on the web as they are to be used strictly as a teaching tool for
PSPMadeEZ members only. You MAY share your results with friends/family.***
